1. Information We Collect

We collect information in three ways: what you give us, what we collect automatically, and what we receive from third parties.

A. Information You Provide Directly

  • Contact details: name, phone number, email address, and city submitted through our website forms, Facebook/Instagram Instant Forms, Google ads lead forms, or by calling or visiting our store.
  • Purchase intent details: move-in timeline, number of rooms to be furnished, payment preferences, delivery-day preference, budget range, and package interest collected through our qualifier forms.
  • Communications: voicemails, text messages, emails, and in-store conversations related to your inquiry or purchase.

B. Information Collected Automatically

  • Device & browser data: IP address, browser type, operating system, device type, referral URL, pages viewed, time on page, and click events.
  • Advertising & conversion data: events captured via the Meta (Facebook) Pixel, Google Ads conversion tracking, Google Analytics 4, and Microsoft Clarity — including form submissions, button clicks, page views, session recordings (anonymized), and conversion attribution.

C. Information From Third Parties

  • Social platforms: when you submit a lead through a Facebook or Instagram Instant Form, Meta transmits the information you entered (name, phone, email, city, and your answers to qualifier questions) directly to our systems.
  • Financing partners: application outcomes (approved / declined) and approval amounts from Acima Leasing, Snap Finance, and Progressive Leasing when you apply through them.

2. How We Use Your Information

  • Respond to your inquiry, schedule delivery, and fulfill your order.
  • Contact you by phone, text message (SMS), or email about your lead or purchase. By providing your phone number on our forms, you consent to receive calls and text messages from Comfort Living. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out. See Section 3 for full SMS program details.
  • Process payments and, if you choose, facilitate lease-to-own or financing applications with our partners.
  • Measure and improve our marketing — including building lookalike audiences, retargeting site visitors, and measuring campaign performance on Meta and Google Ads.
  • Improve our website, products, and service quality.
  • Comply with legal obligations, prevent fraud, and enforce our Terms of Service.

3. SMS / Text Messaging Program

Program operator: Comfort Living, 11420 Long Beach Blvd, Lynwood, CA 90262.

What you receive

You consent to receive text messages from Comfort Living when you submit a form on our website, fill out a Facebook or Instagram Instant Form, or provide your phone number to us in person at our showroom. The texts you receive fall into three categories:

  • Inquiry follow-ups — confirmation that we received your inquiry, and messages to help you schedule a showroom visit or phone consultation.
  • Order & delivery status updates — order received, delivery scheduled, out for delivery, delivered, including tracking links when available.
  • Customer-service messages — appointment reminders, replies to your questions, and warranty or after-sale follow-ups.

We do not send recurring marketing or promotional broadcasts through SMS.

Message frequency

Message frequency varies based on your interaction with us — typically 2 to 8 messages per inquiry or order.

Cost

Message and data rates may apply. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Opting out (STOP)

You can opt out of the SMS program at any time by replying with any of the following keywords to any message we send: STOPENDCANCELUNSUBSCRIBEQUIT, or STOPALL. After you opt out, we will send a single confirmation message acknowledging that you have unsubscribed, and you will receive no further SMS messages from the program. You can re-subscribe at any time by replying START.

5. Financing Partner Data Sharing

Comfort Living partners with independent lease-to-own and financing providers — Acima LeasingSnap Finance, and Progressive Leasing. These are separate legal entities, not affiliates of Comfort Living, and they operate under their own terms and privacy policies.

If you choose to apply for financing, the following occurs:

  • You are redirected to (or interact in-store with) the financing partner's application flow.
  • You submit information directly to the financing partner (name, address, date of birth, Social Security Number, income, and other data they require).
  • Comfort Living receives only the outcome of your application (approved / declined) and the approved amount — we do not collect or store your Social Security Number, bank account numbers, or full financial data.

6. Tracking Technologies & Analytics

We use cookies, pixels, tags, and similar technologies to measure and improve our services. Specifically:

  • Meta (Facebook) Pixel — captures page views, form submissions, and conversion events so we can measure ad performance, retarget visitors, and build lookalike audiences. Data is shared with Meta per their Data Policy.
  • Google Analytics 4 (property G-S9JZF4Z4S4) — measures site traffic and user behavior. Data is processed by Google per their Privacy Policy.
  • Google Ads Conversion Tracking — attributes conversions to Google Ads campaigns, including enhanced conversions with hashed contact data.
  • Microsoft Clarity (project w9txdarii7) — anonymized heatmaps and session recordings for site improvement.

You can opt out of Meta advertising cookies at facebook.com/ads/preferences, and Google advertising cookies at adssettings.google.com. You can also enable Do-Not-Track or Global Privacy Control signals in your browser — we honor GPC signals from California residents.

7. Data Retention

We retain your information for as long as needed to serve the purpose for which it was collected, to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. Typical retention periods:

  • Lead records (unconverted): up to 3 years from last interaction.
  • Customer records (purchased): up to 7 years, to support warranty, returns, and tax-record requirements.
  • SMS opt-in / opt-out records: retained as long as you remain opted in, plus a minimum of 4 years after opt-out, to demonstrate compliance with carrier and regulatory requirements.
  • Marketing analytics: retained in aggregated / de-identified form per the platform's defaults (Meta: 180 days for events, Google Analytics: 14 months for user-level data).

8. Data Security

We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your information — including HTTPS/TLS encryption for all web traffic, access controls on our internal systems (Gmail and Google Sheets CRM secured by Google Workspace authentication), and vendor contracts that require reasonable security. No system is perfect, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. If we become aware of a breach that affects you, we will notify you as required by applicable law.
